Check back here when you can for site updates or just the "life and times" and other general lulz!

Finally I decide to upload this thing, eh? Anyway best not ramble on about a load of rubbish and get straight on to the updates!
Firstly there's been a bit of a made to the background music throughout the site. I decided to stick in a couple of MIDIs into two pages but they aren't working anymore so I'll get rid of them soon enough. Also... they're a bit shite. Pardon my French. Also I created a brand new playlist especially for the "About the owner" section from bands that I actually take my time listening to, ha ha. Mind you I might take out the Within Temptation tracks and then possibly just include all the folk music. I'm a bit gutted mind that I couldn't find "Kelpie" by Jethro Tull on Playlist because at the moment it's the only song I really, really want to listen to. So yeah it's my new favourite song right now. It's pretty awesome actually. Well that's if you're a fellow folk/rock lover like myself. If you hate folk then... you generally suck. Only kidding but honestly you should give some folk a chance!
I created a couple of new pages as well. These include the "Articles", "Links" and the "You" pages.
"Articles" will consist of anything I feel like sharing with you lot that don't rightfully belong in the announcements section which are far too long or don't necessarily have to do with the site but I will definately let you know HERE if there have been any updates in the Articles section.
"Links", well... surely you know what this page consists of. Basically links to websites that I love and/or find quite useful and/or anything that helped me building up this here site. Go visit them when you have the time (and if you're reading this right now then you probably DO have more time on your hands than you really need already. Either that or I forced you to read this, ha ha!).
Finally, the "You" page was my failed attempt at trying to "Rick Roll" the lot of you. If you don't know what being "Rick Roll'd" is then you should go Wiki it now. NOW. GO! Perhaps I should just embed a YouTube link and remove all the ramblings...?
Anyway that's pretty much it for now so just stay tuned in (if you'd like. I'm not forcing you - but I'd definately love you forever and forever if you did) for yet more amazingly exciting updates!
TTFN. Peace out.

This is for English. We had to do an essay on anything to do with celebrity culture. I decided to do the paparazzi because it's actually been annoying me for a while and it's been crossing my mind to write a wee blog about it. Actually this is the third place I've posted this! It can also be found on my deviantART and my MySpace. So without further ado I guess, here it is;
Celebrity Culture: Are celebrities treated the same as regular people when it comes to having rights to privacy and freedom from the press?
It?s illegal to and is perversion of a human right for privacy to stalk someone and take photographs of them without their permission or without them knowing and legal action can be taken against anyone who breaks this. Once someone feels under threat or fear that they are being followed they have every right to report this to the police and are even told to step forward even if there isn?t all that much to report ? so why doesn?t it seem to apply to celebrities as well? They should be treated no differently to ?normal? people as they all are human and all share the same rights. Who are they and what are they trying to achieve in doing this? They are the paparazzi and want nothing more other than to invade in celebrities? every day or personal life to gain money ? that?s why.
We would often hear about celebrity gossip in the newspapers and magazines about who certain stars are dating, where they are on holiday or even finding photos of them shopping in the supermarket.
The vast majority of us thrive to find out some of the most trivial things about their favourite celebrities for some reason. Some of us love to read about them and laugh at the embarrassing photographs which have been exploited. Sometimes even rumours are spread about celebrities. If such things happened at a normal person?s school or work the persons responsible for the exploitations would get themselves into trouble and even risk losing their job in some cases. If someone began to follow a regular person and even started photographing them without the person?s consent or their knowledge of them having their photo taken in the first place they could face getting into trouble with the police if the person reports it (It is, however, perfectly legal to take photos of public places but once that person begins to make a public disturbance or is taking photos of individuals without their acknowledgement or permission or their picture taking seems rather suspicious then that is when it becomes illegal and action can be taken against it). Once the person having their photos taken is a celebrity the police will do nothing about it because they are a celebrity and it is seen as perfectly fine. I have watched interviews of celebrities claiming that they have been minding their own business doing their weekly shopping when the paparazzi seem to just ?pop out of nowhere? and start snapping away. If this happened to a regular person they would more than likely be very freaked out about it and probably even report it to the police.
Often we would find obscene photographs of celebrities or inappropriate photos of them unintentionally exposing parts of their bodies and not realising this until after they are posted up on the internet for all to see. Many of the normal folks find this hilarious and don?t really think much of this but if it were one of them it would be a whole different matter where the law can get involved.
Invasion of ones privacy is breaking one of the human rights where an individual has a right to their own privacy. In fact the paparazzi would be taking away two human rights with the other one being that everyone has the right to freedom of the press. The paparazzi should also be seen as the press because of how they exploit the information and/or images they have obtained. For a normal person if a photographer comes up and takes their picture without permission they can definitely expect to deal with the police. If you're in a generally public area - such as a public pavement, a footpath or a public highway for example ? you are obliged to take photographs for your own personal and even commercial use as long as you are not causing a disruption or obstruction to any other members of the public. If someone is the main focus of any piece of photography then that person must also be well informed that a photo of them is planned on being taken and they also have the right to know what the purpose of the photo is.
It has been said that when one is bothered by someone else one should not react because if one does they will be the one who gets into the most bother. This is true for celebrities and the paparazzi as well. Welsh actor Rhys Ifans once got into trouble for throwing a beer bottle at the paparazzi after leaving a charity event. When he was leaving he began getting followed by some photographers who provoked him then pushed him over the edge where he then turned around and threw beer over them. He continued walking and they continued stalking after which the Welsh actor threw his beer bottle at them. It was then stated that the police had grabbed Ifans in an attempt to calm him down and escorted him elsewhere.
Where it can be understood that the photographers are just doing their job there are always limits. If one does not want to be photographed it is always best to respect their desires unless there is an important (and very intriguing) reason not to do so. Many individuals in most situations will respond very well to a friendly clarification, particularly if the photogrpaher shows them the photograph that they had taken. Regardless of that some people may argue that the photographer has perverted their rights and from that they had best be ready to explain themselves or just stay out of the person?s face entirely.
An awful lot of photography can be seen as harrassment in the average person?s eyes so why can?t this apply to celebrities as well? Some people would go as far as bringing out a restraining order from people they feel under threat from as can a celebrity.
We can see that celebrities are unfairly treated when it comes to the paparazzi and keeping their personal lives to themselves (no thanks to the paparazzi) and being free from the press ? as do the rest of us in some cases where the whole world is becoming more and more like Big Brother every day.

Heh, I thought I'd just copy 'n' paste the speech on the front page into the Announcements section and put something else there indtead. Y'know how slow I am? Very. I only sort of recently found out (maybe like before I just posted the "Emil the elf" post) that this web server used to be Freewebs? It's so mainstream and I wanted a proper website generator originally but this one will do quite swell for now. I dunno, I'm just gonna be very anti-social on this and not use it for another social networking site as I have more than enough of those as you all probably already know. This is just for my lulz this website and to host my webcomic once I've got enough of it done. I'm going to have to sort out how often I'm going to update it and all that jazz but for now you can read (or reread if you haven't already done so) the very first post for this site! I'm not gonna bother editing it at all so yeah. Have a fun day everyone!
"
Finally! I've found a website similar to Fusiveweb! As a matter of fact I've only started using this server right now and already I'm in love all over again. Fingers crossed that I don't change my mind. Regardless though I have two back up servers but I keyed in the wrong email address in the registration for 110MB.com's. Go me. Nat...
Anyway I hope I was missed and if not whatever. I'm going to try and update as much as I can and this site may host the web comic that I am currently conjuring up so hopes up! If it's not going to be hosted on this site then it probably will on one of the "back-up" sites I have planned. I'm still yet to think of a name for the actual come to be brutally honest with you all.
I'm going to have to find the time and dedicate enough of my time to this. Summer for sure I'll be online frequently. Maybe I'll become one of those webcomickers who become famous via the internet (well duh) and gets put on the Guest List for some conventions. Oooh~ I had better stop dreaming about it and get finger tips to keys (on my laptop) and pencil to paper. I'll try not to be lazy and try even harder to wean myself from the online social networking sites (including MSN messenger) that the typical teenage girl enjoys spending her, ahem, "life" on.
I'm going to have to decide what else to put on this site because I can't just upload my artwork, writings (if at all) and a useless "About Me" section like some stupid social networking site (I have more than enough of those for God's sake... all I need now is Facebook). Perhaps I'll even put on some Urban Legends regardless of whether you all know about it making it mainstream or whether you know for a fact it's false or true or whatever. Tis my site and I put what I want on it. So long as it's not porn or something otherwise I'd probably get my ass virtually kicked off this thing immediately.
So put your hands together for the return of your favourite Hipsy Gypsy and let's pray to whatever God(s) you may worship, be they male or female or even non existant for that matter that she's actually going to update! *BREATH* Wish me luck, chicks and fellas!
Best regards and lots of blessings,
Anya xxx"

Hehe. It's actually a funny story how I found out about Sereena-Maneesh last night. I won't tell you though because it's actually pure filth. Regardless of how exactly I found out about them the infamous Wikipedia aided it. I thought they seemed pretty groovy by the list of their possible genres and even their instruments. I also discovered a new genre! It's called shoegazing where the singers seem to look at his/her feet while singing, hence shoe gazing, and depict a rather emotionless look on their faces. In fact at first I didn't like them quite so much when I started listening to them on Youtube. His voice is just so quiet and boring. He seems to just mumble the words and it was really difficult to understand at all before I looked up the lyrics for Drain Cosmetics (the song in video in the link). So there's shoegazing for you. Emil's sister can't even sing. She's the creepy-looking bassist with the stupid-looking haircut. There's something about her that really annoys me but I can't seem to put my finger on it.
I've grown to like them now though. They've got, as their name suggests, a very serene or peaceful sort of rythm going on. I could listen to this sort of thing to help me go to sleep at night. They've grown on me I guess and it's just something about them that makes me want to listen to them more and more... like what I'm doing right now.
Anyway! This lot are from Norway (so does that make them Norse or Norweigen? I actually have no idea) and I must say Scandinavians have some interesting styles. Finland, infamous for their awesome hard rock and metal for starts. Scandinavia is just so EPIC I wish to perhaps move to one of its countries from this stingy place that I call home or Belfast. It's not too bad like but I want to travel so it'll be good for me I'm hoping. So back on track - he's pretty hot. Although in some pictures he looks as weird as anything. I love his facial hair, his head hair and his fashion sense. Not to mention his truly epic elf ears! His voice is quite nice too but it's slightly difficult to say considering he's, er, a "shoegazing" artist. His head gear and his sun glasses. Ah, I love the Norse. Another reason, even though it's a tad shallow, to move somewhere in Scandinavia! They're all (mostly) pretty hot, ha ha!
Seeing as we're on the topic of elves get a load of this chick from Snog, Marry, Avoid? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ApKF8eL9f-c . Seriously. As you get older aren't you meant to become wiser and not get more immature? Huh. Some people never grow up.
Well enjoy the videos, folks. I send my love and blessings to you.

After long bloody frikkin' last!! A BRAND NEW SERVER! I loved Fusiveweb so much but this is just as good! Good thing too. Ning or Zing or whatever it's called and Synthasite were absolute rubbish for me to work with. This server, on the other hand, is absolutely beautiful to work with. I've got my music box set up, an announcements page, my logo... aah~... of course it does need a bit off spiffing up here and there, need to neaten up and fix the main logo (or just a make a new one altogether - was actually thinking about it for a while), adding a bunch of stuff in and once I'm ready for it I'll upload the web comic! Although I may have said in the index page don't get your hopes up too much because you know what I'm like with promising things like this. Anyway I honestly hope this site flies with success.
Anyway, that'll be it from me for now. I promise this time for SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURE that this won't be the last you're gonna hear from this chick - or after about six months. Or perhaps I should stop promising from now on? Ach well. I'm still in school so I'm sure you can forgive me. Ha, ha.
Peace out and many blessings chicks and fellas,
